Another person died of dengue in the United Arab Emirates

Dengue is now a threat in the United Arab Emirates, a Middle Eastern country. Recently, its prevalence has increased in different parts of the country. In the meantime, two expatriate Bangladeshis have died due to it within a few days. Apart from this, there have been reports of dengue cases in different areas.

An expatriate named Mohammad Shahjahan (25) has died again due to dengue in Ajman, United Arab Emirates. He is the son of Murtyu Nurul Islam, a Chiddik member of Chandrapur village of Chittagong Hathajari municipality.

He died at Sharjah Al-Qasimi Hospital at 2 pm on Saturday. His cousin Shafat Uddin said that Mohammad Shahjahan came to the Emirates three years ago. Since coming to the country, he worked in a grocery super shop. He was suffering from a fever for several days. Later, when the patient got worse, he was admitted to Al-Qasimi Hospital last Friday. Later, when his physical condition worsened, he was admitted to the ICU at night. He said that he died on Saturday afternoon while undergoing treatment there.

This mosquito-borne disease has been spreading in different parts of the country for several days. The expatriate Bangladeshi community leaders are requesting all expatriate Bangladeshi living in Dubai and Northern Emirates to keep their place of residence clean and seek medical advice whenever they see symptoms of fever.
