Bangla Fest-2 to showcase Bengali culture in Canada on April 18

Bangladesh Fest-2 will be held on April 18 to showcase Bengali culture in the mainstream of Canada. Following the success of last year, the organizers have announced that artists invited from Bangladesh and Bangladeshi artists living in Canada will participate in this second year of the event.

Festival organizer Bablu Chowdhury presented details of Bangladesh Fest-2 at a meet and greet held at Dhaka Kebab Naan restaurant on Danforth Road on Tuesday evening. Scarborough South West MPP Dolly Begum spoke as a guest. 

Journalist Shawgat Ali Sagar, cultural organizer Ahmed Hossain, community leader Abul Azad, CPA Morshed Nizam, Fayezul Haque, cultural organizer Sabuj Chowdhury, Farhana Z Khan Nowsher Ali, and others participated in the event. Businessmen representing the community and art, literature, and culture sector representatives also participated. 

At the event, Dolly Begum praised the organization of Bangladesh Fest-2 and said that this event is playing an important role in highlighting Bangladesh in Canada's multicultural culture. 

Organizer Bablu Chowdhury sought the cooperation of all community levels in organizing Bangladesh Fest-2 and said that he is determined to present a quality event.
