Mizanur Rahman, a Bangladeshi expatriate who worked as a food delivery man, was killed in a road accident in the Uchera area of Madrid, the capital of Spain.
The accident occurred last Monday night local time.
A speeding car lost control, uprooted a signal post, hit two containers, and hit Mizan. He was thrown far off the road and died on the spot.
Initial investigations by Madrid police have revealed that excessive speed was the main cause of the accident. The driver of the car surrendered about 15 hours after the accident. He was then arrested. The car involved in the accident has been seized.
The deceased, Mizanur Rahman (28), had been living in Madrid for two years. His hometown was Hingaziya village in the Tengra Bazar area of Kulaura, Moulvibazar district. His untimely death has cast a shadow of grief over the community.
