Body of missing Bangladeshi girl recovered in Canada

Police have recovered the body of Nidhua Muktadir (19), the daughter of writer and presenter Samina Nasrin Chowdhury, a well-known face of the Bangladeshi community in Toronto, Canada. 

Police recovered the body of the young woman from Port Bruce Beach near the forest adjacent to Lake Erie, London, Canada.

Nidhua had been missing since December 3. She lived with her mother in Crescent Town, Scarborough.

Police said that Nidhua, a student at Fanshawe College, was studying nursing. 

When news of his death spread through local media in Canada, a shadow of mourning descended on the Bangladeshi community.
