Armed Forces Day celebration at Bangladesh Embassy in France

Bangladesh Embassy, ​​France celebrated Armed Forces Day with dignity and enthusiasm. On Thursday (November 21), a grand event was held at Marie-16 Hall in the capital, Paris. Ambassador of Bangladesh Embassy Khandkar M Talha presided over the program, and Brigadier General Mizanur Rahman conducted it.

At the beginning of the program, the national anthems of both Bangladesh and France were played. The ceremony was attended by the relevant senior officials of the Ministry of Defense and Foreign Affairs of France, ambassadors and defense officials of various friendly countries posted in France. Apart from this, senior officials of various French military equipment manufacturing companies and expatriate Bangladeshi community leaders living in France.

Various Bangladeshi political, social, and business leaders, along with print and electronic media journalists, were also present on the occasion. Ambassador Khandaker M Talha and Defense Adviser Brigadier General Md. Mizanur Rahman welcomed the invited guests to the NDC function.

Ambassador Khandkar M Talha said, 'November 21, 1971, is a special glorious day in the history of our great freedom war. Due to their professional skills, Bangladesh Armed Forces have been honored in the World Darbar and have earned the honor of employing the highest number of peacekeepers in the United Nations Peace Mission, which has made Bangladesh's flag fly in the World Darbar.' At the same time, he remembered the martyrs and the injured in the mass uprising of the students of 24.
