The creator of 'Qayamat to Qayamat' Sohanur Rahman is no more.

Sohanur Rahman Sohan Ar Nei (Innalillahi Wa Inna Ilaihi Raziun) is the popular producer of Dhakai cinema.

Doctors declared him dead when he was taken to Crescent Hospital in Uttara in the capital on Wednesday evening.

Crescent Hospital's emergency medical officer Tanveer Islam told the media that Sohan was brought to the hospital at 6:40. They found Sohan dead.

Earlier, his wife died of a brain stroke in a private hospital in the capital on Tuesday (September 12) night. 

Sohanur Rahman Sohan is the maker of many successful films. His first film directed was 'Viswa Abiswa'. Salman Shah, Moushumi, Poppy, and Erin Zaman came to the film at the hands of this producer. He was also the director of Shakib Khan's first movie.

Sohanur Rahman Sohan's notable films are - 'Beswat Abiswat', 'Kayamat to Keayamat', 'Amar Ghar Amar Behesht', 'Amar Desh Amar Prem', 'And Anant Bholasha'.

Sohanur Rahman Sohan served as Secretary General and Vice President twice of the Bangladesh Film Directors Association. Sohanur Rahman started his film career as an assistant to Sohan Shibli Sadiq.
