'Satbhavana Cycle Rally' was held with the aim of increasing cordial relations between Bangladesh and India.
The rally started in Kolkata, India on September 14 and ended at the Gandhi Ashram Trust in Noakhali, Bangladesh on October 2. Rally organized by Lions Club International.
Meanwhile, on the occasion of the rally, a congratulatory function was organized at Gurudwara Nanak Shahi on the Dhaka University campus on Tuesday.
The chairman of Debidwar Upazila Parishad of Comilla district Organizing Secretary of Comilla North District Awami League and Managing Director of Dhaka Group were present as the chief guest. Abul Kalam Azad. Muhammad Ali, chairman of the Ali Group of Companies, was present as the guest of honor.
Lion Bimal Bengani presided over the event, Lions International District Governor Kanak Dugar, Snehalaya Director Dr. Girish Kulkarni, Padmashri Popat Rao Pawar, Gurudwara Management Committee Bangladesh President Amar Chand, Sona Cycle Director Suresh Gupta and Lion Prakash Chand Mundra, etc.
Lions club members and cyclists also participated in the event. At this time, the participants of the rally were felicitated by wearing badges and badges.
In his speech, the chief guest said that Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and Mahatma Gandhi started the mutual festival between the two countries, which through such arrangements will develop the relations between the people of Bangladesh and India and the harmony between the two neighboring countries will increase.
In his speech, he also said that under the leadership of Sheikh Hasina, Smart Bangladesh will be built before 2041. He also expressed his gratitude to all those involved in such an arrangement.
