Paris's first permanent Shahid Minaret will be inaugurated on October 8

Bengali language and Shaheed Minar are the pride and pride of the Bengali nation, this Shaheed Minar is a memorial to the martyrs of the language and the conviction to protect all the mother tongues of the world. 

A Martyr's Tower is a long-standing demand for expatriates in Paris, the capital of France. Kazi Enayet Ullah, Chief Coordinator of Paris Permanent Shahid Minar Implementation Committee, will be inaugurated on October 8 in the presence of honored guests from home and abroad.

He said this at a press conference organized by the Association Sicuano at the Ayeba headquarters in Paris on Friday.

Kazi Enayet Ullah said that on February 21, 2024, the public can pay tribute by paying flowers at the permanent Shaheed Minar. This monument is modeled after the central martyr minaret in the Bernard Marie Square of the famous Saint Denis University in Paris. 

Swarup Sadiol, the entrepreneur of the permanent Shaheed Minar, said that such an initiative is a glory for all Bangladeshis, will match the language and culture of Bangladesh in the outside world, and will take Bangladesh to a unique height.

Permanent Shaheed Minar Finance Coordinator TM Reza, Bangladesh Association France President Saleh Ahmad Chowdhury, France Bangladesh Business Forum General Secretary Subrata Bhattacharya Shubo, Ekushe Udjab Parishad France Member Secretary Emdadul Haque Swapan and various print and electronic media journalists working in Paris were present in the press conference.

Organizers said that administrative activities, design approvals and monument works have already been completed. The lion's share of Shahid Minar, built at a cost of around 80,000 Euros, was donated by Kazi Enayet Ullah, Chief Coordinator of Shahid Minar and Secretary General of All European Bangladesh Association (AEBA).
