'Biman Airlines' discussion meeting with stakeholders at Emirates

A discussion meeting on the National Cleanliness Strategy was held in the United Arab Emirates on the initiative of Biman Bangladesh Airlines. This discussion meeting was organized with stakeholders in the ballroom of a local hotel in Dubai on Tuesday night.

At the beginning of the meeting, the General Manager of the Biman Ethics Committee Shakil Meraj presented the main article. While presenting the article, he said that sustainable development can be achieved only if good governance is ensured. This is righteousness. As a result, one can be devoted to official work through one's purity. Which will contribute to creating transparency and accountability in the workplace.

Biman Bangladesh Airlines Dubai and Northern Emirates Regional Manager Sakia Sultana presided over the program as the chief guest, Ambassador Md. Abu Zafar, Special Guest Consul General of Dubai Consulate BM Jamal Hussain. 

Shakil Meraj also said that if someone's luggage is not delivered on time at the airport, arrangements are being made to send it to the passenger's address by courier. Airline boarding card is available online at home. Disciplinary action is being taken in case of a complaint against the undesirable behavior of cabin crew. Besides, initiatives are being taken to stop fake booking of air tickets.

Ambassador Md. Abu Zafar said, Biman is an institution of our pride, not only should we criticize, we should also say the positive aspects of Biman. There are many problems with the aircraft, they need to be identified and solved quickly. Monitoring should be increased to identify the causes of mismanagement. With the collective cooperation of all, Biman will become a profitable company.

Consul General BM Jamal Hossain, the special guest of the meeting, said that although I am personally satisfied with your speech, 1 million Bangladeshis living in the United Arab Emirates are not satisfied. There are no online flight tickets. But when you get on the plane, you see that many seats are empty. Why the seats are vacant, who is responsible for it, who is benefiting from it, these things have to be found out.
