The Bangladesh Consulate will provide all-out support to the day-long 'Business Expo' in New York on November 23 with the intention of encouraging Americans to invest in Bangladesh and strengthen business relations between Bangladesh and the United States.
Top officials of the US Bangladesh Chamber of Commerce and Industries (USBCCI) met on November 5 at the Bangladesh Consulate in New York for an exchange of views.
Diplomats besides Consul General Nazmul Huda, and Deputy Consul General SM Nazmul Hasan were present in this strategic discussion.
Board members Sheikh Farhad, Ahad Ali CPA, Ismail Ahmed, Mili A Bhuiyan, Rafiq Khan, and Badruddoza Sagar were present in the meeting along with USBCCI President Liton Ahmed.
The main objective of the meeting was to strengthen economic ties and create new business opportunities for the Bangladeshi-American community. The Consul General has promised to make the USBCCI Business Expo 2024 a success in that light. The expo will provide support and development opportunities to immigrant and minority-owned businesses, USBCCI President Liton Ahmed said.
Liton Ahmed also said that an IRS officer and an officer engaged in providing loans to minority women businessmen will be present to discuss the various problems of expatriates.
The Consul General said, " Our partnership with USBCCI will enrich these initiatives, strengthen the relationship between Bangladesh and the United States, and open new doors for the Bangladeshi-American business community."
