Meena Bazaar organized by Bangladesh Ladies Club in Sydney

Bangladesh Ladies Club Australia organized Meena Bazaar for the third time in Sydney. Last Saturday at the Ingleburn Community Center in Sydney, this Mina Bazaar started from 12 noon and ended at 11 pm.

The beautifully decorated Meena Bazaar premises with free entry and surrounding car parking facility was thronged with visitors. The venue turns into a piece of Bangladesh with gaiety, stalls of various clothes, delicious food and jewelery stalls. Bangladesh Ladies Club Australia President Rahela Arefin and General Secretary Shireen Akhtar Munni gave a welcome speech.

The organizing committee said that the money collected from Bangladesh Ladies Club Australia's Meena Bazar will be used to provide disposable sanitary napkins to Days for Girls and essential health information for women and girls in Bangladesh through Ingleburn Rotary Club. In addition, donations to the Ganja Children's Fund (eg, schools, health clinics, community facilities, education, clothing) will be spent on various developmental activities for women and children.

Reza Arefin, Shakhawat Hossain Babu, Naeem Abdullah, Kazi Alam Rubel and Malay Biswas coordinated the Meena Bazaar. The media partner was Janmabhoomi Media and Culture Inc., in association with Bangla Hair and Beauty.

Advisor of Bangladesh Ladies Club Australia Dr. Jesse Chowdhury announced this year's grants in a short speech. Finally, the organizing committee announced the end of the program by expressing sincere thanks and gratitude to everyone present.
