Business Expo is going to be held in Sydney under the initiative of Australia Bangladesh Business Forum. And Bangladeshi business organizations have assured all kinds of cooperation in this business expo. On the occasion of the Business Expo, a press conference was held at Hotel Intercontinental in the capital on Tuesday.

Abdul Khan Ratan, president of Australia Bangladesh Business Forum presided over the press conference. He said, Australian businessmen are ready to invest in Bangladesh. They are looking for a reliable medium so that investing in our market does not fail. If we can show them that there is a good environment to invest in Bangladesh then they will not be turned away. They have to create that environment for us. If we can't deal with their compliance, they will never be able to enter the market. We are already working with Sirajganj Economic Zone to provide industry to Bangladesh.

Abdul Khan Ratan also said that the Australia Bangladesh Business Expo will be held at the International Business Convention Center in Sydney, Australia on October 3 and 4, 2024 with the cooperation of Australia. 150 Strolls are expected to sit in this expo. Four to eight seminars will be held each day during the two-day expo. Who will participate in this expo can know all the details through our organization.

The representatives of the business organizations assured cooperation in the business expo and said that the initiative taken by the Australia Bangladesh Business Forum is really commendable. They will be fully supported by us along with this business expo. We are lagging behind in the Australian market, hopefully, we will not be lagging behind from now on. The relationship between Bangladesh and Australia will further increase through the business expo.

The guests expressed their commitment to actively participate in the official Australia Bangladesh Business Expo with the aim of brightening the image of Bangladesh in Australia and wished them success.

M Allama Siddiqui, High Commissioner of Bangladesh appointed to Australia, said that mentally or culturally, Australia is a part of the Western world. Their main focus has been, still is, and will be in the future towards North America, and Europe. Bangladesh's relationship with Australia is increasing not only in terms of business but strategically in all aspects. Shares of RMG and Hometex are falling day by day. That's not a problem, because you can't depend on one. We have to focus on other products as well. We have many products to export not only to Australia but also to other countries including leather, plastics, and jute. Bangladesh's market is very promising. It should be used. We also have the opportunity to use manpower in Australia.

He said, we need greater coordination among the business communities. This combination is very weak. Another thing to remember is that if money is not spent, money does not come. This realization should also be among our government people. We have to invest heavily. We need to do more research on business and investment.

Deputy High Commissioner of Australia in Bangladesh Clinton Pobok said I wish Australia Bangladesh Business Forum good luck with this initiative. They have taken a very good initiative. Through this, we hope that the relationship between Australia and Bangladesh will increase further.
