Within five months of coming to power, the current Labor government in Britain arrested 3,600 illegal immigrants and sent them back to their countries.

The country's interior ministry said that a record number of Nigerians and Ghanaians were repatriated from Britain on October 18. 44 migrants were sent home on a single flight from England's Gatwick Airport.

The Ministry of Home Affairs has already initiated the sending back of migrants. This flight is part of that move. It was the largest repatriation of migrants on a single flight since the October 18 general election.

Since coming to power, the Labor Party government has sent back around 200 migrants from Brazil and around 200 from Vietnam and Timor-Leste. In total, 3,600 people have been sent back to different countries in the last five months. Migrants have also been sent back to Eastern European countries such as Albania, Lithuania, and Romania.

According to local media 'The Guardian', only four flights have gone to Nigeria and Ghana from 2020 till October 18. Collectively, only 50 migrants were sent on these flights. However, after Labor came to power, 44 people were sent on the last flight on October 18.
