A private company called 'Expat Services Limited' has started its journey with multi-faceted services for Bangladeshi expatriates in Malaysia . Former Foreign Minister Dr. AK Abdul Momen, M.P. Expat Service Senderian Berhad has announced that it will be free from harassment and brokers in providing passport renewal and other services to expatriates in Malaysia.

Ghiyas Uddin told the journalists that initially the activities started with the call center, but now visa services for foreign nationals and issuance of travel permits for expatriates who do not have passports have been added. Which earlier the expatriates had to collect directly from the High Commission.


He also said that we are ready to provide sincere service to expatriates in a short time in a harassment and broker free environment.

But the Expat Group's biggest venture is the much-awaited e-passport service for expats, which is still awaiting launch. Marketing and branding director of the company, actor SM Armaan Parvez said that all the processes of e-passport launch are over, only waiting for the official journey. Arman Parvez expects that this service will be launched between 18th and 20th of this month.


He said Expat Services is bringing on-stop services for expats at Jalan Chan So Lin (next to the city center) with an area of ​​about 14,000 square feet where all services will be connected at the same time. This service will run through 45 counters. If an expatriate wants to apply for a passport, the staff here will assist in everything from bank drafts to form filling.


Arman Parvez said these things during an exchange of views with expatriate journalists on Friday. Notably, the outsourcing company ESL will provide services outside Kuala Lumpur in several states such as Johor Bahru and Penang through mobile teams under the supervision of the High Commission. The entire operation of the 'One Stop Service Center' operated by ESL will be directly managed electronically under the supervision of the High Commission officials and has direct monitoring from the High Commission through CCTV. The expatriates expect that such arrangements will make the services in the diaspora easier and faster and will bring qualitative changes in the provision of services on the model of developed countries.
