The biennial conference of Ekushey Academy Australia was held

Ekushey Academy Australia (Inc) held its biennial conference. It was held in the hall room of Sydney's Ashfield Civic Center, presided over by the organization's president, Engineer Abdul Mateen, and moderated by the general secretary, Raonak Hasan. 

The meeting started with the national anthems of Bangladesh and Australia and a tribute to the indigenous people of Australia. Minutes of past general meetings, the general secretary's report, and the treasurer's financial report are presented to the organization's members. Based on the lively discussion and opinions of the members present at the meeting, the presented report was unanimously accepted.  

According to the constitution of Ekushey Academy Australia, the President nominates the members of an advisory committee consisting of four members for the next two years. The chairperson of this committee named 'Ekushey Academy Advisory Committee' will perform the duties of Dr. Swapan Pal the members are Abhijit Barua, Dr. Abdul Wahab, and Mofizul Haque. 

Later, the honorable president of the newly elected committee will serve as a member of the said committee ex officio. Finally, the current president announced the abolition of the committee through his farewell speech and urged the election commissioner to conduct the election. 

Chief Election Commissioner Dr. Qayyum Parvez and Election Commissioner Anila Parveen conducted the election. After scrutinizing the nomination papers, Ekushe announced the names of the newly elected committee of Academy Australia Inc. for the next two years (2025-27). Dr. in the newly elected 15-member committee. Sultan Mahmud was elected President and Bulbul Ahmed (Saju) General Secretary.
