Islamic Students' Movement's Iftar Mahfil in Kuala Lumpur

Leaders of the Islami Chhatra Andolan Bangladesh Malaysia branch have called on the interim government to take effective initiatives to restore overall stability and deal with the country's ongoing instability. The speakers made this call at an iftar mahfil organized at a restaurant in the capital, Kuala Lumpur, on Saturday (March 22, 2025).

The Iftar Mahfil, chaired by the convener of the organization's Malaysia branch, Taufiqur Rahman Mahfuz, was moderated by Omar Faruk Saikat. Bashir Ibne Jafar, a former VP of Mahsa University and member of the central shura of the Islamic Students' Movement Bangladesh, was the main speaker. Mufti Amirul Islam, president of the Islamic Students' Movement Bangladesh Malaysia branch, was the chief guest.

Speaking as the chief guest at the event, Mufti Amirul Islam said that students are the future of Bangladesh, so they must prepare to work for the welfare of their own country in light of the knowledge and experience gained abroad.

Keynote speaker Bashir Ibn Jafar said, "In the ongoing political instability, the government needs to take effective steps. Especially since all political parties are united in establishing a welfare state, the government needs to take some effective steps to bring back a stable situation by bringing everyone together, which will bring good to the nation."
