International Children's Film Festival Bangladesh-2023 is being held again like every year with the slogan of Frame Frame Frame Next Dream. Children's film 'Mike' is being screened at the 16th International Children's Film Festival.
The children's film 'Mike' was shown at Shilpakala Academy's Chitrashala today Saturday at 12:30 PM. The children's film 'Mike', based on the historic March 7 speech of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, the great hero of independence, was released in theaters across the country on August 11.
Appearing at the International Children's Film Festival, writer, columnist and organizer and director of the movie FM Shaheen said that the movie Mike was released in various theaters of Bangladesh on August 11. The movie is made in the context of post-seventies.
The director said, you know the role of children and teenagers in all movements including our language movement, liberation war, the story has been arranged in such a way. An incident has been highlighted when Bangabandhu's March 7 speech could not be played. A story of that time.
He said, working with children and teenagers is challenging. And if children are exposed to history, a more complex equation becomes a challenge for all.
