Porimoni's 'Ma' to be screened in London

Porimoni starrer 'Ma' is going to be screened in London. On September 16 and 17, there will be six special screenings at the Relax Radio Auditorium in London, said Aranya Anwar, the producer of the film.

Aranya Anwar made the announcement in a guest address at the combined literary and cultural festival organized at The Art Pavilion in London on September 11.

Earlier, on May 20, 'Ma' had a market screening at the Cannes Festival's Marche du Film. After this, the film directed by Aranya Anwar and starring Parimani was released in Bangladesh on May 26.

United States expatriate scientist Dr. was the chief guest at the combined literary and cultural festival organized in London. Nurunnabi Prominent Rabindra musician Rezwana Chowdhury Banya was the special guest. President of the Parishad poet Moinur Rahman Babu and general Secretary AKM Abdullah and all writers-poets-eminent from the UK gave greetings on the occasion.

The story of the film 'Ma' is during the liberation war. It is the emotional story of a helpless mother of a seven-month-old child who is declared dead. Parimani played the role of mother in it. Besides, there are Azad Abul Kalam, Farzana Pictures, Saju Khadem, Robena Karim Jui, Shilpi Sarkar Apu, Shahadat Hossain, and others.

Aranya Anwar from London said, 'I have said since the Cannes festival that I want to go all over the world with the film. Because I dedicated the film to all the mothers of the world. It is going to be shown in London this time. It is a joy for me and for Bangladeshi cinema.

After that, I have plans to show the film in other countries of the world including the United States.'
