An Iftar and dinner was organized on the occasion of the holy month of Ramadan at the initiative of the Bangladeshi community living in Townsville, North Queensland, Australia.

The event, held on Saturday (March 8) at the picturesque Riverside Community Center, located on the banks of the famous Ross River, was attended by community members, students, teachers, various professionals, their families, and well-wishers.

At the beginning of the Iftar, prayers were offered for everyone's well-being, self-purification, brotherhood, and blessings. All the participants in the event prepared and served delicious Iftars with various local flavors on their initiative. After the post-Iftar prayers, everyone enjoyed a traditional Bangladeshi dinner with delicious Rooster Polao.

The organizing committee invites all members of the community to participate and pledges to continue such religious and social events in the future.
