The Heim-Textile Fair 2025, one of the world's largest international exhibitions of home textile products, has begun in Frankfurt, the commercial capital of Germany—the fair starts on Tuesday.
This year, over 3,000 textile and apparel manufacturers, vendors, and exhibitors from 65 countries participated in the fair, making it an important platform for shaping the future of textile interior design. The Heim-Textile Fair has maintained the international industry's trust in sustainable business solutions and the exchange of innovative ideas.
Like every year, Bangladesh actively participated in the Haim-Textile Fair this year too. A total of 15 companies from Bangladesh participated in the fair, out of which 4 companies joined the fair under the supervision of the Export Promotion Bureau (EPB) and with the overall support of the Bangladesh Embassy in Berlin.
These companies are BD Creation, Manuri Textile Mills, Jantex Industries, and Debnayar Bags and Luggage Ltd. In addition, 11 companies participated in the fair on private initiatives.
Charge d'Affaires of the Bangladesh Embassy Rahat Bin Zaman and Commercial Counselor Chowk Md. Golam Rabbi visited the Bangladesh pavilions at the fair. The Charge d'affaires exchanged views with the representatives of the participating organizations and inquired about their activities.
He said, "Bangladesh's textile industry can compete in the global market. Such international fairs play an important role in increasing our export opportunities and global partnerships. We hope that more Bangladeshi companies will participate in this platform in the future."
On the first day of the fair, January 14, the Charge d'affaires and Commercial Counselor met with the Frankfurt Messe authorities in an important meeting. During the meeting, both sides discussed closer cooperation in the future.
