Bangladesh Agricultural University Alumni Pitha Festival in Australia

Bangladesh Agricultural University Alumni Pitha Utsav was held in Australia. Last October 20 (Sunday) at the Australian Botanical Garden of Mount Annan, the agronomists of Bangladesh Agricultural University living in Sydney organized this. 

The organization organized a midday feast there with around 20 types of pitha, puli and pies. Traditional Pakan Pitha, Pati Sapta, Chui Pitha, Vapa Pitha, Kala Pitha, Taler Pitha, Nakshi Pitha, Chitai Pitha, Puli Pitha, Narikeli Pitha along with Singara, Piyaju and unknown pithas of village Bengal. It was accompanied by various bhartas, chutneys and pickles. 

For lunch there were two types of biryani, vegetable khichuri, two types of chicken curry, butter chicken, beef curry, mutton curry, fish bharta and polao. In the last half there were various sweets including curd. After the full meal, everyone took pictures together, children's sports, running around was a sight to behold. 

The event was attended by the renowned teacher of Bangladesh Agricultural University, Professor Dr. Hasneen Jahan Nimmi, along with various leaders of Bakrbi Alumni Association. It is worth mentioning the spontaneous participation of the new generation of agriculturists from different parts of Sydney and their families.
