Bangladesh Udichi Art Group Canada Parliament celebrated Bangladesh's 53rd Great Victory Day through a cultural program at the Hope Church Auditorium in Toronto. President Subhash Das and General Secretary Minara Begum welcomed the audience and delivered welcome speeches at 6:30 pm. Udichi members started the program by performing the national anthems of Bangladesh and Canada.
Later, he discussed the Liberation War, in Bangladesh, and the current situation in Bangladesh. The discussion was attended by freedom fighter and founding president of Udichi Canada Azizul Malik, current vice-president Soumen Saha, Udichi advisor Bidyut Ranjan Dey, Mohammad Habibullah Dulal, and Progressive Democratic Initiative (PDI) general secretary Monir Zaman Raju.
The stage decoration and sound management of the program were handled by Udichi advisor and principal of Udichi School of Arts and Culture, artist Tajuddin Ahmed, co-general secretary Joy Das, Debashish Deb Chowdhury, and Udichi co-general secretary Subhash Roy. Artist Achintya Roy accompanied him on the tabla.
The program concluded with a mesmerizing performance of folk songs and poetry by Udichi artists. Finally, President Subhash Das and General Secretary Minara Begum thanked all the audience, artists, and collaborators present.
