Enchanting evening of music by artists Mamata-Supriya in Toronto

Dhruvapada Performing Arts and Research Center organized a musical evening titled 'Rabi O Raga' in a different dimension at Highway Gospel Church Auditorium, St.Clair Midland, Toronto.

Dhruvapad Performing Arts and Research Center director and singer Dr. Mumtaz Mamata and classical music artist Supriya De performed the music. The impeccable performances of the two artists kept the audience enthralled.

Writer Subrata Kumar Das gave a welcome speech at the beginning of the teacher and artist Dr. Jurisdiction Omar. After that, the music performance of the two artistes started. 

Dr. Mumtaz Mamata performed Rabindra Sangeet and artist Supriya Dey performed Bandish of various ragas and those Ragasrayi Rabindra Sangeet were performed by artist Dr. Mamtaz Mamta

Their performance was accompanied by tabla player Ashok Dutt and percussionist Rattan Singh Bhamrah. Each offering of the two vocalists becomes mesmerizing in their perfect and restrained harmonies. After the bandishti of a raga, the composition of the ragasrayi kabiguru adds a unique dimension to the event.
