Durga Puja, the biggest religious festival of Sanatan and Hindu communities, is being celebrated in Germany in a very festive atmosphere. As always, devotees from all walks of life in the country are happy to participate in the puja.

Durgo Festival has gathered in different parts of the country, including the capital Berlin. Apart from the Mother Temple in Munich, Rhine Mine Bengali Cultural Association in Frankfurt, and Banga Utsav in Dresden, there are four Bengali Puja Mandaps in Berlin. Devotees and worshipers have been coming in droves to the puja mandaps of the Berlin Hindu Society, Berlin Bengali, and two other organizations since the day of Mahashasthi.

Devotees flocked to perform Kumari Puja on Mahashtami on Friday. The day of Mahashtami is celebrated in the presence of thousands of devotees and pilgrims. Anjali and Prasad were distributed in the evening.

Meanwhile, from the day of Maharashtra, the reading of scriptures, drinking of peace water, sandhi puja, aarti, installation of new papers, and abides are held. As always, there was a fascinating cultural program with two artists from Bengal.

Like last year, there was a good presence of pujaris from both Bengals in the puja mandap from the day of Mahashasthi this year. There is only one prayer in everyone's voice - 'Be blessed with peace, prosperity, and harmony'.
