The Bangladesh High Commission in Kuala Lumpur has organized an Eid reunion and joyous festival with migrant workers working in Malaysia. On Sunday, an auditorium in Cameron Highlands, a picturesque hilly area of ​​Malaysia, was organized to entertain expatriate workers.

High Commissioner Shamim Ahsan was present as the president in the event organized for working expatriates. Besides, Deputy High Commissioner Khorshed Alam Khastgir, President of Cameroon Highlands Farms Association Lee Peng Fo, representative of Malaysian farm owners Ms. Puan Siti, expatriate Bangladeshi community representative, expatriate worker representative, representative of Agrani Remittance House and City Bank Remittance House. , expatriate Bangladeshi journalists and officials and employees of the High Commission were present.  

At the beginning of the program, High Commissioner Shamim Ahsan exchanged Eid greetings with expatriate workers. After that, expatriate workers read from the holy scriptures of different religions. Then he participated in an exchange meeting with the expatriate workers of the High Commissioner. During the discussion, the workers presented their various problems to the High Commissioner. They demanded that other services of the High Commission, including passports, be provided to Cameroon Highlands, which is far from Kuala Lumpur.

The High Commissioner listened attentively to the various problems of the workers and informed them that the High Commission is making continuous efforts to solve those problems. He said that those who are living in far provinces from Kuala Lumpur will no longer have to go to the High Commission with difficulty. Embassy services have been digitized and services are being provided through post offices. Besides, a call center related to the High Commission's services has been launched with the number 0392120267.
