'Jashore Liberation War and Politics' book publication festival in Toronto

The publication festival of the famous freedom fighter Syed Nazmul Hossain's book 'Jashore's Liberation War and Politics' was held at the Canada Awami League office in Toronto.

The book, which contains the author's memories of the liberation war and his own views on the national politics of Bangladesh including Jessore, was unveiled by prominent freedom fighter and president of Bangla Kagaz Editor Mandal MR Jahangir and editor-in-chief of New Desh - Shawgat Ali Sagar.

Ontario Awami League president Mostafa Kamal moderated various aspects of the book, along with former student leader and Awami League leader Abdul Quader Milu, freedom fighter Akbar Kabir, Dr. Abdus Samad Howlader, and others. Author Syed Nazmul Hossain sheds light on various aspects of the book.

While discussing the book, the keynote speaker Shawgat Ali Sagar congratulated the author for publishing his own narrative of liberation war. He said that huge masses of the country participated in the liberation war. But they are always neglected in the discussion of the liberation war. He said, if each freedom fighter records his own experience, it will become a significant document of history.

The negotiators urged to take the initiative to convey the true events of the liberation war to the new generation.
