Pitha Festival in Mildora, Melbourne

Pitha Utsav was organized by the local Bangladesh community at 32 Darlington Parade in Mildora, Melbourne. On Saturday afternoon Johnny and Shipper supervised the whole thing and Rumman's eloquent presentation and songs kept the Pitha Festival alive throughout the day. Besides, Shamsun, Mannan, Sunny, Pia, Musa, Tanmi, Suman, Imran etc. took part in the fun reminiscence.

Kolkata's Bengali Dr. Mau's melodious vocals add a different dimension to the festival. The organizers said that this pitha festival has strengthened the bond of mutual relationship between Mildora's Bengali families. The dress code for pitha festival was green Punjabi for boys and orange color dress, saree for girls.
