Ramadan Night Festival organized in Sydney

Mintu Mall in Sydney hosted its first Ramadan Night Festival on March 21, 22, and 23 (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday). The entire parking lot of Mintu Mall was filled with delicious local and national flavors of Halal food stalls and food trucks from 6 pm to midnight. There were separate ablution and prayer facilities for Muslim men and women. Mintu Mall also distributed drinking water and dates during Iftar.

New South Wales Minister for Fair Trading, Industry and Commerce, Innovation, Science and Technology Anulak Changtivong said Ramadan Nights provided a great opportunity for people of all cultures to come together and celebrate Islamic heritage. He also believed it could boost the local economy and tourism.

Mintu Mall owner Tony Mardka expressed his heartfelt gratitude to everyone who came out to join him and his family and friends for Ramadan Night, saying that the Ramadan Night organized for the Muslim community will not only provide a wonderful opportunity to learn about and celebrate Islam but will also build bridges between many cultures and communities.

He expressed his sincere gratitude to Mintu Mall for this great organization, expressed his request to organize a larger Ramadan Night festival every Ramadan, and expressed his commitment to providing overall support."
