Celebrating the Holy Week in Malaysia

The Muslim community celebrated the auspicious night of Shab-e-Barat in Malaysia on Thursday night amid religious fervor. The Muslim community from Bangladesh, Indonesia, Pakistan, and India participated enthusiastically.

In almost every Bangladeshi-dominated area in Malaysia, large and small mosques built by expatriate Bangladeshis are crowded with people as the holy Shab-e-Barat evening falls. Everyone joins in the worship in the hope of gaining the pleasure of Allah.

Devout Bangladeshi expatriate Muslims spend the night performing voluntary prayers, reciting the Quran, zikir, waz, and Milad mahfil in the hope of gaining the mercy and closeness of Allah Almighty.

On this glorious night, expatriates offer special prayers and supplications, wishing for the happiness, peace, and prosperity of their beloved motherland, Bangladesh, and the Muslim Ummah.
