At the banquet of the Chandpur diaspora in New York, two mainstream politicians, Senator Masudur Rahman, and Akhtar Hossain Badal, called upon everyone to unite in order to fulfill the American dream and said to unite in voting for the preferred candidate in the November elections.

'Rupsee Chandpur Foundation' organized a wonderful celebration of harmony in the beautiful environment of Bethpage State Park in Long Island near New York City in the presence of hundreds of expatriates.

It should be noted that Connecticut State Senator (Democrat) Masudur Rahman and Long Island Chamber Director (Democrat) Aktar Hossain Badal are both children of the same area of ​​Chandpur and both of them have been made advisors of 'The Rupsi Chandpur Foundation'. 

In this banquet on July 28, one of the organizers of the Democratic Party and prominent businessman Aktar Hossain Badal was the chief guest.

Apart from representing various classes and professions of the community, there were also brave freedom fighters, regardless of party affiliation. In other words, the day-long banquet became a meeting place for the expatriates, filled to the brim.

Senator Masudur Rahman said in the speech given at that time, that less than 1% of the voters of the area from which I was elected are Bangladeshis. Despite this, I won by a margin of 80 thousand votes with the unwavering support of people from all walks of life in the area. It has been possible by always standing by the people in the face of danger and in the movement for the rights of the citizens.

Senator Masud said, that during my election, prominent people from New York and Chandpur were by my side. It still exists - this is the absolute truth.
