President of Chittagong Association in USA Taher, Secretary Arif

The results of the Chittagong Association's much-discussed elections in the United States were officially announced on October 25. Candidates of the 'Taher-Arif Panel' won 9 seats, including president and general secretary, in the election of 19 seats of the executive committee. 

'Maqsud-Masud Panel' candidates won 10 seats including senior vice president, vice president, and organizational secretary. 

On October 20, results could not be announced immediately after a day of polling in four centers in New York, Pennsylvania and Connecticut states due to challenge voting. After the counting of those 6 votes, the final result was announced. 

The winners of 'Taher-Arif Panel' are- President- Abu Taher, General Secretary- Ariful Islam Arif, Treasurer- Shafiqul Alam, Assistant Treasurer- Nurul Amin, Office Secretary- Ajay Prasad Talukder, Assistant Office Secretary- Imrul Qaiser, Education & Cultural Editor-Enamul Haque, Publicity and Publication Editor-Md. Jaber Shafi and Sports Editor-Md. Jesus 

On the other hand, the winners of 'Maqsood-Siraji Panel' are - Senior Vice President - Mokhtadir Billah, Vice President - Ali Akbar Bappi and Ayub Ali, Joint General Secretary - Iqbal Hossain Bhaiya, Deputy General Secretary - Md. Harun Mia, Organizing Secretary-Md. Farhad, Social Welfare Secretary-Akhtar-ul Azam and Executive Members Noorus Safa, Shah Alam and Shaukat Ali.
