Seven people were injured in a clash between two Bangladeshi groups in the Portuguese capital Lisbon. The injured are undergoing treatment at the local Sao Joao Hospital.
The attack took place on Sunday afternoon local time due to a personal problem. Tarek Ahmed, Sumon (Milfontez), Shamsuzzaman, Glilman, Jamil, and Jubel are injured.
Regarding the attack, Abdus Salam, a resident of Lisbon, said, "As far as I know, this incident started over the invitation to the birthday of BNP senior president Kamil Ahmed in Beja, Portugal, and a clash broke out during an argument between the two sides in Lisbon."
When contacted, Portugal BNP member secretary Sayef Ahmed Sweet said that no terrorist is spared in BNP. None of those involved in these terrorist activities are senior leaders of Portugal BNP. However, if anyone from Portugal BNP is involved in such terrorist activities in this incident, appropriate organizational action will be taken.
It is worth noting that the Bangladeshi community in Portugal is in a state of shock following the attacks by both sides. In addition, the presence of Portuguese TV channels and police is visible throughout the day in the Bangladeshi area of Rua do Benformoso.
