6 Bangladeshi Scouts at Australian Scout Jamboree

Six expatriate Scout leaders have participated in the 26th Australian National Scout Jamboree. Scout delegations from 33 countries are participating in the Jamboree, held in Brisbane, Australia, from January 6 to 15.  

A 6-member Bangladeshi scout delegation led by Md. Alauddin Alok (Wood Badger), a member of the Bangladesh Scouts Foundation and a world bicycle traveler, participated in the Jamboree on January 12 (Sunday). The other members of the team are Md. Khorshed Alam Khan ALT, Sardar Md. Khaled PS PRS, Md. Delwar Hossain Wood Badger and members, of Bangladesh Scouts Foundation, Abdul Karim Bhuiyan, former senior rover mate of Government Titumir College, and Md. Kamruzzaman Bappi. 

Alauddin Alok said, the World Scout Organization consists of 174 countries in the world. The bond of world brotherhood binds Scouts from each of its countries. Participation in the Jamboree is a golden opportunity to strengthen this bond of world personalities and to exchange mutual feelings. By participating in this Jamboree, we have the opportunity to showcase Bangladesh's history, tradition, and culture to the world.
