World Children's Day celebration in Greece

The 'World Children's Day and Children's Rights Week 2024' was celebrated in Greece with great enthusiasm and enthusiasm.

The day was especially celebrated with the participation of expatriate Bangladeshi children at the Bangladesh Embassy in Athens on Monday (October 7) afternoon local time, keeping in mind the theme "Every Child's Right, Protect Our Rights".

In the beginning, Bangladesh Ambassador to Greece Nahida Rahman Sumna read the message of the President and Chief Advisor. Councilor (Labour) Biswajit Kumar Pal read the speech of the Adviser on Women and Child Affairs. Under the direction of First Secretary Rabeya Begum, expatriate children and teenagers they participated in the cultural performance organized with the support of the Doyal Academy organization. Music, dance, and poetry recitals were performed to highlight the children's talent and creativity. 

Children captivated everyone by singing in their voices, reciting poems and performing mesmerizing dances. 

The show opened with 'We Are All Kings' performed by Sneha who grew up in Greece. Then, Mahira, Madina, Shehrin, Ira, Raj, Faria, Idrak, Rabbi, Sadia, Siam and other children performed poems and songs.

Nahida Rahman Sumna, Ambassador of Bangladesh appointed to Greece, greeted and congratulated everyone in her speech and said, today's children are our future and it is our moral responsibility to protect their rights.
